We need to ensure real support with workforce funding. Workforce development is the key to helping workers secure higher-paying jobs. When companies invest in training and educating their employees, those employees in turn become more motivated and valuable.   3. High School Students to Participate in a Competition<\/a><\/strong> – Opportunity for high school students to participate in a competition for innovative product or business development ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Grants to Train Farming Professionals <\/a><\/strong>– IHEs, agencies, and organizations may apply for funding to train farming professionals in sustainable agriculture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Workforce Training in Tourism Industry<\/a><\/strong> – $3,000 and $5,000 for training and workforce development in the tourism industry<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Churches for Workforce Development Activities<\/a><\/strong> – Up to $50,000 to Alaska nonprofit organizations, schools, and faith-based entities. Funding is for projects that advance the occupational skills of Alaskans.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    1. Women to Pursue Advanced Degrees and Courses of Study<\/a><\/strong> – Grants up to $20,000 to USA women to pursue advanced degrees. Funding benefits women who seek to rejoin the workforce, pursue professional advancement, and change their field of employment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Enhance the Solar Energy Industry Workforce<\/a><\/strong> – Cash prize for collaborations between training organizations and manufacturers, developing comprehensive workforce plans, and encouraging individuals from historically underserved backgrounds to pursue careers in solar manufacturing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Promote Education and Professional Development<\/a><\/strong> – Program supports adults preparing to enter the workforce, promote learning for young children, and provide academic support for students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4.  Career Development Activities<\/a><\/strong> – Grants to Wyoming school districts to promote workforce development through career and technical education at the secondary level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Address Employment Gaps and Promote Workforce Development<\/strong><\/a> – Grant funding to assist Indigenous communities in identifying gaps, opportunities, and strategies for employment training, recruitment, placements, retention, and long-term employment. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
