The state is known for having some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the country. As to whether it\u2019s the best\u2026you\u2019ll just have to judge for yourself, won&#8217;t you?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt Lake City is about 4,300 feet above sea level. Visitors used to much lower elevation may feel its effects easily. Hot tip: Stay hydrated!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt Lake City is named after the Great Salt Lake. The fun thing about this lake is how easy it is to stay afloat! Swimmers float easily in the lake because it&#8217;s so dense with salt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt Lake City hosted the Winter Olympics in 2002, and of course, they were a rousing success. Utahns are known for their warmth and hospitality\u2014and the splendid snow helped too.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utah gave us an important First! Lester Wire of Salt Lake City designed the first traffic light to use red and green lights.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Salt Lake City is a cultural and artistic hub.&nbsp;Salt Lake City hosts screenings of the annual Sundance Film Festival in January.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Did you save room?
