Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the meaning of abundance, the people who support our work, and the impact we have made throughout the year. At GrantWatch<\/strong>, our mission grows stronger every day thanks to our community, our staff, our technology partners, and the many families and readers who share this journey with us. As a result, we’d like to share a Thanksgiving message of abundance and gratitude from our founder and CEO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Thanksgiving Message From Libby Hikind<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

True abundance is not measured by possessions, but by the ideas we nurture and the energy to bring them to fruition, along with the people around us who assist. This truth guides me every day, and it is the foundation of my gratitude this Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am grateful for the abundance in my life. I am deeply thankful for our subscribers; your loyalty, your engagement, your commitment to the work that we do, and your role as responsible citizens and invested members of the GrantWatch family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Year of Growth and Support<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I am grateful for your support as I branched out from CEO, a role I proudly continue today, expanding my work to include my book The Queen of Grants<\/em> and six children\u2019s books, a journey made possible by the encouragement of those around me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am deeply grateful for my husband and for the abundance of our family. May our family continue to grow, and may we celebrate many happy occasions together in the years ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also give thanks to platforms like KDP and Ingram, where self-published authors can bring their work to life, and to retailers such as Barnes & Noble and Walmart online for bringing my books to young readers everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To all the mommies and daddies reading my books at bedtime, I am grateful for you as well. Though I may never meet you, I can feel the warmth of those small hugs at the end of each story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sincerely believe that value-based literacy is the foundation for raising good, capable human beings. A love for reading lights a spark in every child and creates a natural desire for discovery. When we begin early, we give children the tools they need to grow with confidence, curiosity, and compassion. I have always felt that it is far better to nurture young minds from the start than to rely on extensive remediation later. Early literacy is not just important; it is essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I am excited to share that I am working on my seventh book, Zara the Zebra Runs Away: A Story About the Beauty of Being Yourself.<\/em> I have collected all of my titles at LibbyHikind.com<\/a><\/strong> for those who may want to see the journey so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

None of this would be possible without a support system. I have the GrantWatch staff, who consistently support and amplify our message, and that message is simple: “Go for it!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact Through GrantWatch<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Through GrantWatch, we have helped millions of people throughout the years. Nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals have found grants on our site, and funders have received meaningful and well-aligned applications. This is the heart of our mission and remains a privilege to witness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am also grateful for the advances in technology that support our work. I offer my thanks to Sam Altman<\/a> for his leadership in developing accessible artificial intelligence tools and to Elon Musk <\/a>for his early influence in the field. Their innovations have helped make grant finding and grant writing easier for the thousands who use our platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our own AI grant writing tool<\/a> has supported grant seekers with meaningful programs who had never written a grant before, giving them the guidance and confidence to pursue funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reach of GrantTalk<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

GrantTalk guests have received new funding opportunities simply from being on the show and gaining visibility for their endeavors. In addition, countless viewers have heard the real stories behind grant funding from both funders and recipients. This open exchange of experience and insight continues to grow in impact each year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Collective Influence<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Millions of lives have been touched, served, and enhanced by the grants awarded through our platform. This collective influence is a true reflection of abundance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can all stand around and talk about what is needed, but at some point, we must simply begin. Go for it. Apply for grants. Make things happen. Write the books on your mind. Build better technology that moves the world forward. Every idea can improve someone\u2019s life. Take your abundance of ideas, place them in order of importance, and start with the first one. Be grateful that these ideas came to you, and give them the opportunity to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
