Some states in the United States depend on tourism, which had become incredibly difficult with states having travel restrictions. Stories of businesses shutting down are heartbreaking. Stories of people fleeing their cities for better opportunities seem more and more common. But what about cities that want to use the opportunity that this new remote work environment offers? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tulsa, a city in the state of Oklahoma will be offering grants to remote workers who choose to live in Tulsa. And the benefits seem pretty epic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s how it works: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tulsa is looking to attract diverse, remote talent to their city. You must be 18 or older. You must be eligible to work in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For a lot of remote workers who live in expensive cities with high taxes and high cost-of-living, this might be an especially compelling offer and could increase the talent in the Tulsa eco-sphere, which is probably the point of this entire venture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s why it&#8217;s awesome: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The city of Tulsa has actually designed this entire program to help participants make connections, meet like-minded people, and facilitate growth.
