The Trust gives back to those who have sacrificed so much for so many. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A GrantWatch Story of Success &amp; Triumph <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>So, before I tell you more about this program and we talk all about the importance of veterans organizations and grant programs, I want to tell you a personal story from a customer service call I answered a few years ago. I picked up a customer service call on a regular day, not really thinking much of anything, thinking I would just guide the person on the other line through our services, answer questions about funding, or something along those lines. But instead, it was a veterans organization on the other line, and the coordinator proceeded to tell me that his nonprofit had been awarded three very necessary grants that they had found on GrantWatch. We were both crying on that call, and now close to seven years later I still remember it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This is why it&#8217;s important to talk about the need for these organizations. These nonprofits and supplementary organizations provide so much needed help<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Veterans &amp; Much Needed Services Come Together <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, let&#8217;s talk about why programs and services offered by these nonprofits, local government, and other relevant organizations are so critical: These kinds of programs offer essential services in addition to any offered through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vfw.org\/NVS\/?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=filling-a-va-claim&amp;gclid=CjwKCAiArIH_BRB2EiwALfbH1LwaEN2CK-5Mu6AC5OscsI6ke_5H4ayn34mmdZarCQ60mWjAwABJ5xoCJgkQAvD_BwE\">the Department of Veteran Affairs<\/a>. This may include things like counseling for trauma, housing support, community activities, career services for the civilian transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The importance of Veterans organizations that help provide services for those who have given so much to all of us can never be expressed enough. And since many veterans experience a <a href=\"http:\/\/v\">range of issues ranging from homelessness to addiction at higher rates than the general population<\/a>, help is needed.
