With each grant secured, UCP Arkansas moves closer to its vision of a more inclusive and equitable society, where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dept of Transportation<\/strong> <strong>(DOT)<\/strong>: 2 handicapped transportation vans worth around $ 170,000<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021<\/strong> <strong>(ARPA)<\/strong>:  This funding allowed them to provide employee bonuses, among other things.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>State Government Grants<\/strong>: Funding sources include the army and the Department of Human Services DHS.  These state grants totaled around $330,000 and UCP was able to fully remodel their preschool. They replaced the roof, the floors, HVAC units, and outfitted the facility with new furniture and toys.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All in the Family<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>In a touching moment, Katy introduces her daughter, Emma, who embodies the spirit of resilience and possibility.
