Our Mission: To work in solidarity with Salvadorans to facilitate community organization in order to address locally identified challenges in El Salvador including social, educational and health related issues; Our Vision: Our vision is to assist Salvadorans in reaching their full potential as members of and leaders in their families, communities and society;In order to accomplish this mission and vision, we run two main programs in Los Tehuistes, La Paz, El Salvador: 1) Knowledge is Power: a scholarship and leadership program for high school and university students, and 2) Farming for the Future: an organic farming/gardening initiative for families to combat malnutrition. We are known in the community for our first project, in which we helped to bring running, potable water to 150 homes.
