The Juniper Fund

The Juniper Fund supports and empowers families and communities impacted by the loss of Himalayan high-altitude workers. The Juniper Fund provides relief funds of unconditional direct cash transfers to families who have suffered poverty/financial strain as a result of the sole supporter of the family dying in an accident or medical incident while working in the Himalayan mountains during a commercial or private expedition. Financial grants are provided in the form of annual cost of living grants, vocational training, and/or small business grants.
