Compass Cbs Foundation
The Compass CBS Foundation serves the minority entrepreneurial community in Arizona with a focus on Black and Latinx small business owners. It provides support to Spanish-preferred program attendees who make up approximately 75% of attendees. The Foundation provides business readiness programs and training that helps small businesses advance equitable economic recovery increase generational wealth and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Arizona. The organization has launched over 1,700 small businesses and served over 20K program attendees in the last 10 years. The Foundation has created rapid response resources for small businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic such as the CARES Act Readiness Program Reopen Safely Program and Going Green and Going Smart Program. These programs are currently offered online and promoted through state and local economic development agencies and media.
