The Oakstead Foundation is currently seeking program partners in the areas of:
1. Youth gardening opportunities
2. Youth beekeeping
3. Youth food preservation learning opportunities
Target Audience
Supporters include any individual, group, organization, or company that believes that youth should be taught long-lost heritage skills.

Program partners are encouraged to reach out to collaborate with Oakstead Foundation in order to reach more youth.

Funding priorities
Oakstead Foundation seeks funding support for the following programs:
1. Youth Sewing Club, the Needle Ninjas. Youth 8 years through 18 years learn the techniques of sewing, crocheting, weaving, textiles, etc. Funds help provide equip youth with materials and equipment for projects and learning modules.
2. Youth Shooting Sports club, the Currituck Sharp Shooters. Youth learn the importance and skills needed to respect and handle fire-arms. Techniques in hunting skills, target practice, fire-arm safety, etc. are taught. Funds provide equipment, practice supplies, travel expenses and competition entry fees.
