1. TO SOLICIT CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO SUPPORT THE PROVISION OF HEALTH, EDUCATIONAL AND HOUSING RESOURCES TO PERSONS LIVING IN POVERTY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. 2. TO ORGANIZE AND IMPLEMENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS IN WHICH EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, RELIGIOUS AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO POOR COMMUNITIES IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. 3. TO WORK WITH LOCAL NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS (NGOS) IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TO SUPPORT HEALTH/EDUCATIONAL AND SOCIAL PROGRAMS FOR THE POOR.
