To promote the development of parks, recreation, and leisure services in Lake County; to enhance the quality of life in Lake County by preserving land, environment, and natural heritage; and to create significant opportunities by conservation, education, recreation, and relaxation either directly or by contributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and its Regulations as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.
