- Kids ‘n Kinship provides friendships and positive role models to children and youth ages 5 to 16 who are in need of an additional supportive relationship with an adult. Through our programs below, children develop a sense of self-worth that is essential to successfully functioning in school, in healthy relationships and eventually on the job.
Our community-based mentoring program matches individuals, couples and families with children in need of a supportive relationship to minimize isolation and prevent or reduce at-risk behaviors.
Our school-based mentoring program matches adult volunteers with children in need of a supportive relationship and school work assistance. Individual volunteers mentor a child at school and also in the community during the summer. Volunteers make a one-year commitment to the program. School matches are invited to participate in all Kids ‘n Kinship hosted events and activities.
The Kids ‘n Kinship Pen Pal Program is an initiative to support the children in our program who are currently waiting for a mentor. - Target Audience
