YOUNG SCHOLARS PROGRAM - SUPPORTS A GROWING NETWORK OF EARLY CAREER SCHOLARS TAKING ON RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT ARE POLICY- AND PRACTICE-RELEVANT AND EXAMINE THE PREPARATION, COMPENSATION, WELL-BEING, AND ON-GOING PROFESSIONAL LEARNING OF THE EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION WORKFORCE. THE FOUNDATION NOT ONLY PROVIDES GRANTS TO SUPPORT THEIR WORK, BUT ALSO CONVENES MEETINGS AND WORKSHOPS THAT ENCOURAGE NETWORKING AND MENTORING IN ADDITION TO PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT TO BUILD RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATIONS SKILLS. THE CURRENT NETWORK INCLUDES 67 YOUNG SCHOLARS AND 11 INAUGURAL PROMISING SCHOLARS.
