Larchmont Friends of the Family, Inc. is a not for profit, nonsectarian, charitable organization, intended to assist families with significant ties to the Larchmont community. Formed by Larchmont residents, its purpose is to mitigate the trauma faced by a family with dependant children when a parent or child dies or suffers a castastrophic illness. Where needed, financial and support services and volunteer efforts will be provided on a short term basis only and are intended merely to provide some stabilization of the family in the midst of a crisis until the family members are able to thoughtfully consider and adjust to their new realities.
