10 Grants That Fund Projects for Children in the U.S.

There are nearly 2 billion children in the world and 73 million children in the U.S. alone. Some of these children lack the resources needed to live both a healthy and safe life. Whether it is homelessness, hunger, lack of education, violence, or health issues these children face, it is important to get organizations the funding they need to continue to help children in need.

COVID-19 has also made many of these problems worse for children, specifically in education. According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), more than one billion children are at risk of falling behind in school due to the pandemic. Many children have also been struggling with food insecurity and nutrition issues since the pandemic started. UNICEF notes that “370 million children may have missed nutritious school meals” due to COVID-19.

Now, more than ever, it is crucial children get the assistance they need. Grants can be a great way to do this. For this reason, GrantWatch will be sharing some of the top grants available for programs for children below. These grants include funding for programs focused on health, education, mental health, safety, etc.
