Kansas Grants

  1. Grants to Kansas nonprofit and for-profit organizations, Tribal entities, academic institutions, and government agencies to develop/enhance tourism. Moreover, funding is for building improvements, new construction, and new or improved exhibits to promote tourism. Also, priority will be for projects that leverage matching funds for greater community impact.
  3. In addition, grants to eligible Kansas nonprofits for agriculture-based programs for agricultural projects that benefit local residents. Moreover, funding is for agriculture scholarships and activities, and to promote potential agricultural business development. As a result, priority will be for projects that will have a positive, long-term impact in their communities.
  4. Grants of up to $3,000 to eligible Kansas organizations, groups, and businesses to promote and advertise projects and events to increase tourism and overnight lodging rates. In fact, the purpose of the program is to encourage events that will have a significant economic impact.
  5. There are grants to eligible Kansas nonprofits, and government, educational, and religious entities to enhance the quality of life for local residents. Moreover, focus areas include arts and culture, community beautification, conservation and environment, community social services and security, and healthcare. Funding is for grants to distribute for charitable projects through a competitive application process.

  4. In addition, grants to eligible Kansas nonprofits for projects for community/economic development to benefit residents. Funding is for charitable, scientific, religious, educational, and literary purposes. Emphasis will be for proposals that will improve economic development of the area. Projects will also benefit long-term needs of residents.
  5. Also, grants up to $10,000 to eligible Kansas small businesses to promote business growth and expansion. Funding is for business development opportunities that include equipment purchases, repairs, and marketing efforts. The grant targets areas in commercial corridors.
  6. Lastly, grants of up to $10,000 to eligible Kansas nonprofits, government agencies, and tribal entities for activities that benefit residents. Funding is for programs and projects within the focus areas of education, human services, environment, children and youth, housing, health, animals, arts and culture, and community development.
