2024 New Years Resolution: Get Fully Funded

This year, like every year, when the clock strikes midnight and the promise of a fresh start becomes reality, we will make our 2024 New Years resolutions. Most have to do with losing weight, finding true love, or saving money, but every once in a while someone comes up with a really worthy resolution. And, unfortunately, for many of us, making resolutions is as far as we go.

Why do we perform this ritual of setting goals when the odds of keeping them seem so small? We’ve given it a great deal of thought and we believe we can sum it up in one, single word. HOPE. Resolutions are a manifestation of hope. Our resolutions are worth keeping; let’s make them count.

What’s your 2024 New Years Resolution?

Does the new year represent a fresh start for you as an individual, or a small business, or a nonprofit? Your friends at GrantWatch are here for you. Think of all the good you might do in the new year. You might start a small business, help the homeless, protect wildlife, or even study abroad. If getting fully funded is your 2024 New Years Resolution, this is where you want to start.

Libby’s 2024 New Years Resolution

What’s my 2024 New Years Resolution, you ask? To publish my book. My book is almost ready. It needs a few more edits before I prepare it for pre-sale. Contact me about your interest, through support@grantwatch.com. It will make a great New Years gift for a grant writer, teacher, entrepreneur, or for a nonprofit or business leader. The Queen of Grants: From Teacher to Grant Writer to CEO has been read by the entire GrantWatch team and it has their stamp of approval.

The book has three sections.

  • The first section is my memoir, taking you through my career and providing entrepreneurial and life lessons.
  • The second section answers every question you might ever have about grants.
  • Finally, the third, is an in-depth review of all the parts of a grant application. There are even writing samples for inspiration.

Working Together in the New Year

I have a question for you. “Are you ready to make 2024, the year that you get fully funded?”

If you have never written a grant before, then January 2024 is the time to write your first one. GrantWatch has everything you need to gather information and write a grant application that might possibly win you funding. (Yeah!!!)

A little advice:

If you are a small organization start small. Build up a portfolio of grants and show proper management of funds and press releases and news coverage. Write thank you notes and maintain positive communication with your funders.

For larger organizations, think innovation, research best practices, and give it a 2024 twist. Think dissemination, continuity, and sustainability when you write your grants. Look for funds in a variety of grant categories while maintaining the mission of your organization.

In conclusion, I know if you’re reading my 2024 article, you have a keen interest in funding. Isn’t it time to begin? I know you can do it!

Now let’s get funded!

Happy 2024 New Year!
