Grants for partnerships between funders, communities, and government leadership to create prosperous, sustainable, and just communities. Grant funding will enhance local capacity to build equitable and sustainable communities with trust-based grantmaking to support collaborative partnerships. Project costs include consultant fees, community stipends, supplies, administrative expenses, and small capital or equipment expenses.
2. Grants to Indian Tribes to Improve Library Resources and Provide Professional Development for Library Staff!
There are grants of up to $10,000 to Indian tribes to improve library resources and provide professional development for library staff. Funding supports federally recognized Native American tribes to improve core library services for their communities.
3. Funding to Nonprofits to Improve Access to Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork!
Up to $5,000 to nonprofits to provide therapeutic bodywork and massage to marginalized groups to enable communities to achieve their health potential. Funding is also for mainstream therapeutic bodywork and massage services in places where it is not otherwise available. An additional objective is to promote working partnerships between the therapeutic bodywork and massage profession and community-based organizations. The Foundation’s goal is to enhance the knowledge and practice of massage therapy by supporting scientific research, education, and community service.
4. Grants to Nonprofits for Programs to Benefit Military Service Members, Veterans, and Their Families!
Grants and in-kind marketing to nonprofits for creative and innovative programs and professional development to benefit military service members and their families. Award funding will be for program expenses. These expenses include wages/salaries, supplies, capital campaigns, building repair, and professional fees (e.g., mental health counselors, physical therapists).
5. Professional Development of Educators to Improve Early Childhood Care and Education!
Grant funding to nonprofits, school districts, and Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs) to improve childcare and educational services to benefit low-income children by investing in the development and retention of high-quality early educators. Priority consideration will be for approaches and models to build early childhood professionals’ knowledge, skills, and classroom practices to support children’s behavioral and social-emotional health.
6. Professional Development for Dairy Producers, along with Events and Programs to Promote the Dairy Industry!
Up to $10,000 to nonprofits for events and programs to promote and educate the public about the dairy industry. Funding supports building the skills of current dairy producers, training the next generation of future professional dairy producers, and growing and maintaining public trust in the industry’s people and products. Projects will build producer professionalism and maintain public trust through its programs to educate and engage both the dairy community and the public. The core objectives are to engage and equip people in lifelong learning and leadership skills, while also developing the next generation of professional dairy producers.
7. Grants to Dance Groups and Choreographers to Present New Works!
Grants to nonprofit dance companies for production and touring costs for works that engage local communities. Production grants are made to projects led by professional choreographers or companies to support the creation, touring and/or sharing of a new dance project.
8. Funding to Nonprofits for Collaborative Projects in the Fields of Arts and Culture, and the Environment!
There are grants to nonprofits for collaborative projects in the fields of arts and culture, and the environment. Priority consideration will be for projects that involve one or more of the following: direct, in-depth professional interaction, with the potential for sustained collaboration; evidence of professional accomplishment and innovation; and/or respond to social contexts and engage local communities. The funding will also be for programs that will include advanced training, workshops, conferences, seminars, joint research projects, and other formal exchanges to enable organizations to strengthen institutional stability.
9. Fellowships to Early-Career Researchers
Fellowships to early-career researchers affiliated with a university or research organization for studies focused on the early education of Hispanic children in the US. In addition to mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities, fellows will attend the Administration for Children and Families’(ACF) Child Care and Early Education Policy Research Consortium (CCEEPRC). They will learn about current early care and early education policy-related research and engage with research, policy, and programmatic attendees.
10. Grants to Libraries for Professional Development for Staff and Volunteers!
Up to $3,000 to libraries for professional development for staff and volunteers. The goal of the program is to develop library services to meet area needs. The funding will be for trainer fees, the purchase or duplication of training materials, and/or non-library facility room rental. Emphasis for the training will be to meet the needs of the library customer end user. Library board members, donors, volunteers, advocates, and other supporters will also receive training.
