5. Cooperative Agreements to Develop Gene Therapies for Rare Diseases!

Funding for organizations, IHEs, and agencies to develop new gene therapies that target rare neurological and neuromuscular disorders. These grants support research, testing, and treatment development for ultra-rare diseases.

6. Grants to IHEs and Nonprofits for Scientific Wildland Fire Research!

Grants for researchers affiliated with IHEs, nonprofits, and Tribal entities to study wildland fire behavior. Supported disciplines include biology, geoscience, engineering, and education. The goal of the program is to improve understanding of environmental and community impacts.
