Grants Celebrating & Supporting Libraries

Grants to USA Nonprofits to Revitalize Public Spaces

Grants up to $50,000 to revitalize public community spaces like technology projects for the public library. In addition, adaptive uses of historic buildings into community spaces, improvements to outdoor parks or trails, and more to create and restore communal spaces that foster personal connections.

Libraries to Improve Internet Capacity

Grants to California public libraries to improve internet capacity. Funding addresses promoting digital inclusion and literacy, increasing accessibility and affordability, and facilitating universal high-performance broadband adoption.

Preserve Historical and Cultural Resources

Grants up to $3,500 to nonprofits for projects that preserve historical and cultural resources. Funding is for research, digitization, oral histories, collections care, transcription, language preservation, and training. Specifically, projects preserve and create access to historical or cultural resources.

Library Grants that Support the Arts

Grants to New Jersey nonprofits, IHEs, and libraries to promote and support the growth of the arts. Funding is for public arts events and activities.

Mobile Libraries Serving Underrepresented Children

Up to $3,000 to USA nonprofits, public schools, and libraries to purchase books for mobile lending libraries serving disadvantaged youth. Funding buys fiction or non-fiction books geared for children and youth from preschool through 8th grade.

Funding to Public Libraries for Community Support

Grants to USA public schools in multiple states to rebuild school libraries in the wake of a disaster. Funding helps school libraries with damages to their collections, media, or equipment due to natural disasters including floods, earthquakes, avalanches or mudslides, wildfires, hurricanes, and tornados.
