Showing Educators Our Appreciation: Awards for Teachers

The GrantWatch team is showing educators our appreciation with Awards for Teachers. It’s not surprising to hear students complain about a strict teacher they have. Years later, it’s normal for that same student to speak fondly of their former strict teacher, expressing their admiration and saying, “If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today!” Being a teacher is a hard – yet rewarding – career. They are tasked with the critical role of ensuring children have the proper educational foundation to be truly productive contributors to society. These unsung heroes don’t always get the recognition they deserve, so it’s great to see that there is grant funding available to help show how much they are honored and cherished!

GrantWatch recognizes the outstanding contributions made by teachers in higher education by providing a current list of awards for higher education-level teachers. Additionally, GrantWatch has over 1,200 grants in its Higher Education grant listing category.
