Contract totaling for consulting firm to assist in filling key positions in the Alabama education system. The overall goal of the funding agency is to ensure high quality education for all students throughout the State. The purpose of the available funds is to assist the agency in hiring and placing qualified personnel to fill high rank positions throughout the public school system. The awarded consulting firm is directly responsible for the hired personnel including salary.

The following positions are examples of what may be needed to fill:
a. Interim Superintendent
b. Chief Financial Officer/Adviser
c. Financial Officer
d. Chief Academic Officer
e. Peer Assistant
f. Programmatic Coordinators/Content Area Specialist

While each aforementioned position has its specific requirements for candidacy and unique responsibilities, the consulting firm should select all applicants from retired and/or experienced education professionals. The roles being filled are to work within a local education agency that is specifically trying to improve educational outcomes or the fiscal health of the school district.
