Grants for professional development for artists in Oregon. The mission of the Foundation is to integrate arts and culture in all aspects of community life. The purpose of the available funding is to improve business management skills, and/or help advance the careers of the individual artist or the arts administrator by supporting expenses related to specific, unique opportunities that have potential to significantly impact an individual’s work and professional development.

Examples of projects funded include travel to and attendance at seminars, workshops and conferences; display work at prestigious locations outside of Portland; auditions or work study; artistic research; and promotional material.

An individual artist or a “not-for-profit” arts organization. IRS 501(c)(3) status is not required
