Grants are available for non-profits and charitable organizations to help rebuild Missouri in the aftermath of the natural destruction that took place in 2011. Funds are available to aid homeless victims enter permanent affordable homes so they can move forward in the recovery process. Organizations that can provide affordable housing - either new or rehabilitated homes - are invited to apply.

The Community Foundation of Southwest Missouri has opened a grant cycle with a priority on affordable housing proposals located in Joplin or Duquesne. Applications for other tornado-related projects also will be considered.
