Grants to Decatur, Georgia nonprofit organizations and government agencies working to benefit the local community and its citizens. Previous recipients have worked in areas such as education, youth, and poverty relief. Please note that all grant recipients must provide volunteers for the Decatur Craft Beer Festival.

Since its start in 1999, the Decatur Craft Beer Festival has granted more than $1,200,000 to Decatur nonprofit groups. Previous grant recipients include Decatur Arts Alliance YEA!, Decatur Makers, Amplify My Community, and Decatur Education Foundation.

All grant recipients will be asked to provide a minimum of five volunteers for entry gate or other approved areas of the Decatur Craft Beer Festival. Volunteer information will be provided in the acceptance letter which will be sent to the contact and mailing address provided.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grant applicants must be a nonprofit organization located within the City of Decatur or directly benefit the citizens and community of Decatur.

The application must include a copy of your organization’s 501(c)(3) determination letter or proof of government agency status (if applicable).

Grants will not be awarded to cover costs of employee or contract workers.

Pre-Application Information:

Grant must be received in the Special Events office no later than Monday, August 6, 2018 by 5 pm.
