Grants of up to $15,000 and grants starting at $15,000 to Greater Cincinnati, Ohio nonprofit organizations for programs that improve the quality of life for local residents. An LOI must be submitted before submitting a request for more than $15,000. Funding priorities are programs that assist people with basic needs, childhood literacy programs, and training for job skills for those living in poverty.
To streamline its grant-making process in Greater Cincinnati, Scripps Howard Foundation divides its grant cycles into two categories: Small Grants and Large Grants.

Nonprofit organizations offering programs in the funding priority areas in Greater Cincinnati are eligible to apply.
The Scripps Howard Foundation does not fund dinners, golf outings, runs, and other fund-raising events in Greater Cincinnati.
