The Dr. Scholl Foundation
Grants typically ranging between $5,000 to $25,000 will be awarded nationally and internationally to non-profit organizations committed to improving our world. Applications for grants are considered in the following areas: Education, Social Service, Healthcare, Civic and Cultural, and Environmental. The Foundation values solutions to the problems of today's world that demonstrate innovation, practicality, hard work and compassion.
Individual campaigns whose primary purpose is to influence legislation
Loans, operating deficit reductions, the liquidation of a debt or general support
Grants are rarely made to endowments or capital campaigns
Event sponsorships including the purchase of tables, tickets, or advertisements

Typical range $5,000 to $25,000 though there is no limit on the amount requested.
Foundations that are themselves grant-making bodies
-Prospective grantees are notified in November and, if approved, grant payments are made in December of the grant year.
-Application forms must be requested each year. Phone, fax or e-mail requests are not accepted. Please indicate if you would like a paper copy of the form mailed to you or an electronic Adobe version.
-Non-U.S. grants are given to organizations where directors have knowledge of the grantee.
-Organizations may only make one request per year.
