Grants of up to $10,000 are available to Santa Clara County, California non-profit arts organizations and local government and university arts programs for support of their regular, ongoing activities, including summer festivals, annual concerts, performances or exhibition seasons, annual competitions, etc.

Eligible programs must promote artistic excellence, reflect the dynamic, diverse, and innovative character of Santa Clara County; support the professional development of small and mid-sized arts organizations; recognize and encourage non-professional, volunteer involvement as an essential part of the County’s cultural environment; and stimulate local support, particularly at the grassroots level.

* Non-program expenses
* Support for political or religious purposes
* Fundraisers
* Capital improvements
* Purchase of equipment or real property
* Debt retirement
* Projects already completed
* Tuition assistance
* Refreshment costs
* Art therapy
* Touring expenses

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

-Local organizations whose primary purpose is the performance, production, or presentation of arts and culture activities.
-Arts programs of a local government, university or college (only one program per government/university/college).
-Organization must have been performing, producing, or presenting in Santa Clara County since July 1, 2010.

Organizations with budgets over $2,000,000
Organizations whose primary location or primary arts activities lie outside Santa Clara County
For-profit organizations
Institutions of primary or secondary education
Service organizations or public institutions/agencies which may produce arts activities but whose primary purpose is NOT art performance, production, or presentation

Level 2, 3, and 4 applicants MUST be California not-for-profit corporations with a 501c3 tax-exempt certification. Level 1 applicants may use fiscal sponsors.
