Grants to Alaska non-profit organizations, including tribes, schools, churches, and local government agencies that provide a variety of quality programs and services that benefit the public. The purpose of these grants is to help build an organization's capacity to provide effective and creative programs and services, and thereby improve local communities.

Grants will support non-profit professional staff and board of directors in their effort to access tools, develop practical skills, and cultivate support systems needed to effectively achieve the organization's mission.

Grants will also fund activities that allow organizations to build capacity in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, program development, collaboration and community engagement, and evaluation of effectiveness.

Eligibility is limited to 501(c)(3) non-profits or equivalent organizations located in the state of Alaska. Equivalent organizations may include tribes, schools, churches, local government agencies, and programs.
