Grants of up to $50,000 will be awarded in Georgia to non-profit organizations, universities, hospitals, and governmental agencies to advance the health of all Georgians and to expand access to affordable, quality healthcare for underserved individuals and communities. Funds for this grant cycle are intended for General Operating Support. The focus of this priority area is to address the critical organizational capacity needs that affect access, cost, and quality of health and health care services.
-Development of new programs
-Equipment (e.g. medical, laptop/desktop computers, iPads, printers, copiers, and office equipment)
-Activities that exclusively benefit the members of sectarian or religious organizations
-Client treatment/therapeutic regimens, pharmaceuticals, rehabilitation services, transportation, housing, and occupational services

-Non-profit organizations, universities, hospitals, and governmental agencies.
-Universities are eligible to apply for funding, but only one school/department can apply per university.
-Organizations that are not a 501(c)(3) entity can apply through a tax-exempt organization acting as a fiscal sponsor.
-Applicants must be located in Georgia and programs should target Georgia residents.
Any organization with an active grant (including an active General Operating Support or Direct Services Grant)

-If your organization is not a 501(c)(3) entity and plans to use a fiscal sponsor, that organizational sponsor must send a cover letter with the application indicating it has approved a fiscal sponsorship agreement with the applicant organization. Pre-approval of the fiscal sponsor is required for the Foundation to proceed with reviewing the funding request. If the project has no separate legal existence and is a direct project of the entity holding the 501(c)(3), this should be stated in your application.
-The Foundation will not accept more than one application per organization for Cycle 1
