Grants of $50,000 are being awarded to qualified Israeli non-profit organizations to support projects in four distinct areas in Israel: 1) Projects that attempt to eliminate hunger, 2) Projects promoting individuals with special needs, 3) Projects encouraging tolerance and understanding between Israeli Arabs and Jews, 4) Vocational training and economic development for at risk populations.
Preference will be given to organizations that have limited access to large grants and do not have the resources of larger non-profit organizations. Projects must demonstrate measurable results and outcomes and maintain a professional staff and board with the appropriate experience and expertise to enable the organization and its programs to succeed.
Funding will not be provided for:
* Individuals, private foundations, or endowment funding
* Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or fundraising events
* Multi-year funding requests

Non-profit organizations recognized as tax exempt as an amuta under the appropriate sections of the Israeli tax code.
-Applying organizations must have an annual operating budget above $250,000 and below $5 million.
-Projects must have a total budget of at least $50,000.
-No more than 15% of the grant can be used for overhead expenses.
International country outside of the USA, Israel and Canada.
