Grants of up to $2,500 to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for programs that benefit children with developmental delays and disabilities. Funding is intended for activities and services that assist children and their families. All projects, programs, and services must occur in Lancaster County and must benefit children who reside in Lancaster County.
The applicant organization must be a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, as determined by the IRS.
Ineligible
The funds from this grant cannot be used for specific religious purposes, such as religious instruction and proselytizing.
Pre-Application Information
The completed grant application and accompanying materials are due by Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 4:00 P.M.
All applicants will be notified of the S. June Smith Foundation’s award decisions by June 23, 2023.
Estimated Size of Grant
Grant awards typically range between $1,000 and $2,500.
Term of Contract
The funding period for this grant is from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. The project, program, or service must take place during that same time period.
