Grant Description
Grants of up to $5,000 to San Mateo County public school teachers in grades 4th-6th to promote interest and increase student achievement in math and/or science through hands-on STEM learning activities. Teacher-led projects may be implemented either during or after school. Preference will be given for sustainable projects that demonstrate an increased interest in STEM related careers.

Requests of up to $2,500 are accepted from individual teachers; collaborative groups may request up to $5,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
San Mateo County 4th - 6th grade public school teachers. Grant submissions must be made by teachers. Previous award recipients or past applicants may apply again.
