Grants of up to $1,000 to Lake County, Illinois educators of grades K through 12 in public and non-profit schools who are working to promote healthy lifestyles for their students through developing innovative educational programs. Suggested topics for proposed programs include (but are not limited to): diet and nutrition, fitness and exercise, physiology and human anatomy, and prevention of illness.
