Grant Description
Opportunity for Utah residents, business districts, community-based organizations, and neighborhood groups to submit proposals for capital improvements in eligible regions. Examples of eligible projects include the rehabilitation, design, purchase, and construction of transportation, parks, sidewalks, buildings, traffic signals, streets, bridges, and other physical structures. Eligible projects are those that benefit residents of Salt Lake City.

Salt Lake City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a multi-year planning program of capital expenditures needed to replace or expand the City’s public infrastructure. CIP pays for big projects like parks, public buildings, and street projects.

A capital improvement must have a useful life of five or more years, have a minimum cost of $50,000, and a maximum cost of $500,000, and satisfy the functionality of a capital asset.

More information about the CIP is on the Full Grant Text RFP page.
