Grants to Ohio organizations and scout units for new or existing programs to benefit local residents in eligible locations. Funding is intended for programs in four strategic focus areas: emergency assistance, nurturing youth and children, social services, and health and wellness. Eligible applicants serve residents of the Orrville area.

The Strategic Plan has four community impact areas:

  1. Nurturing Children & Youth - Provides positive outcomes that help children and youth succeed in school and develop into successful adults
  2. Helping In Hard Times - Provides emergency assistance: food, shelter, clothing, and legal aid.
  3. Developing Life Skills - Provides positive outcomes with programs that enable individuals and families to become more emotionally, physically, and/or financially stable.
  4. Promoting Health & Wellness - Provides positive outcomes with programs that enable individuals and families to have access to prevention and/or treatment in the health arena, enabling them to become and/or stay healthier emotionally, physically, and/or financially.

Orville area, Ohio organizations and Scout groups may apply.

Pre-Application Information:

All applications must be submitted electronically by 4:00pm on September 6, 2020 to be considered for funding.

Local Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts and Local Girls Scouts have separate applications.

Agencies may apply for multiple grant programs. Multiple programs may be in different impact areas or within the same impact area. A separated application must be completed for each grant program request.
