Grants of up to $500 and grants ranging from $300 to $3,000 to Colorado K-12 schools to support archery programs as part of an outdoor or physical education curriculum. Funding is intended for the purchase of archery equipment. Applications may be submitted for the implementation of new programs and the maintenance of existing programs.
Two types of grants are available: New Program Equipment Grants provide funding for schools that do not have equipment. Equipment Maintenance Grants help schools continue their existing NASP-style archery programs.
NEW Program Equipment Grants:
New Program Equipment Grants are only available to K-12 Schools and will only fund one set of archery equipment.
This grant offers funds to schools with new BAI programs to help purchase their first set of archery equipment.
Equipment purchased through this grant program must be used only for in-school archery instruction. This grant funds are only for the first set of archery equipment per school.
Equipment Maintenance Grants (for Existing Programs):
This grant will help your school fund either equipment maintenance or purchase of additional equipment.

For Equipment Maintenance Grants, CPW will match funding up to $500 per school, per year.
NEW Program Equipment grantees must agree to purchase equipment by January 31st or risk forfeiture of grant funds.
Equipment Maintenance grantees must complete your proposed maintenance or place maintenance orders by March 31st.
Applications are accepted from K-12 schools only. Any other entity will not be considered for funding.
At least one teacher on staff must already be a certified Basic Archery Instructor (BAI).
Equipment Maintenance Grants are only available to schools that have already implemented NASP in their P.E. Programs.
Schools that already have equipment are only eligible for Equipment Maintenance Grants.
NEW Program Equipment Grant Applicants must secure a minimum of $250 in cash to be eligible.
Equipment Maintenance Grants will match school funding dollar-for-dollar up to the maximum.
Applications for the 2017-2018 Grant Cycle must be submitted by November 17, 2017, 5:00 PM.
Recipients will be notified in mid-December and funds will be disbursed in January.
