Funding is intended for programs that align with the following areas of focus: optimize investments in criminal justice, strengthening families, greater economic independence for residents, aging with dignity, community health and wellness, and environmental stewardship

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Requirements:

- Clearly contribute to a funding category
- Serve the residents of Mecklenburg County
- Have a 501(c)3 nonprofit designation with the IRS
- FY2019 independently CPA audited financial statements
- Documentation supporting a diversified workforce (i.e. EEO policy)
- Professional membership that supports organization's sustainability efforts
- No revenue suspensions
- No overdue taxes

Pre-proposal Conference:

Mecklenburg County will hold an information session for its Fiscal Year 2021 Community Service Grants (CSG) on Tuesday, October 29 at 1 p.m. in room 267 of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center (600 E. 4th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202).

Pre-Application Information:

The CSG application will be available Wednesday, October 29 through Monday, December 5, 2019.
