Grants of up to $12,000 to Millard, Nebraska public schools that are seeking financial assistance to support the development and implementation of projects intended to improve student learning via the application of innovative and meaningful uses of technology, with special emphasis on the use of personal digital devices.

These grants are intended to provide targeted investments that provide cost-efficient enhancement to teaching and learning in the Millard Public Schools. Proposals are evaluated on the potential for success in implementation as well as the ability to replicate that success elsewhere in the District.

Estimated Size of Grant:

ITI Mini-Grants are intended to fund project requests of $12,000 or less; however, each request will be considered on an individual basis.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Priority will be given to projects that can be generalized across the Millard Public School District.

Items Not Covered By ITI Mini-Grants:
• Requests that do no impact or enhance student learning using technology.
• Supplies and costs that should be funded by the Building/District/Division/Department budget.
• Employee labor, including faculty release time.
• Travel expenses.
• Projects in direct conflict with current or planned District-wide technology efforts.
• Department or division-wide implementations, or other efforts typically governed by the annual technology planning process (for example purchasing software to be used by every student in a course).

ITI Mini-Grants are not intended to fund duplicate or repetitive requests.
