Grant Description

Grants of up to $3,000 to San Bernadino County, California teachers in the Redlands Unified School District for projects that promote excellence in education. Funding is intended to support instructional, school-based, and innovative projects; add viability to teacher-student relationships; and motivate the implementation of successful projects by teachers.

The Redlands Unified School District serves the city of Redlands, California and the surrounding communities of Mentone, Loma Linda, and the eastern half of Highland, in San Bernardino County.

Projects will be evaluated for:

  • The project fosters an expanded educational experience, whether subject-specific or interdisciplinary
  • Grant budget supports the project
  • The project engages significant numbers of students, affects classroom experience, and may also involve parents/community members 
  • Evaluation criteria are clear

Schools and teachers in the Redlands Unified School District are eligible to apply.

The application deadline is October 11, 2019.

Grants will be presented at the November 12th School Board meeting.
