Award of $250 and in-kind support to a Nebraska K-8 teacher to recognize efforts to integrate agricultural concepts into the classroom curriculum. The award is intended to acknowledge a teacher for outstanding efforts and interest in educating students about the importance of agriculture. In addition to a cash prize, the awardee will receive books for their classroom and a trip to the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
To apply the teacher must:
- Be a full-time teacher currently engaged in integrating agriculture concepts into non-vocational agriculture classroom settings at the kindergarten to 8th grade levels.
Past winners may not apply again.

Application deadline is December 6th. (Winner will be announced January 4th).

- Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation Book Bundle with twelve agriculture books with corresponding literature guides for their classroom.
