Grants to Colorado junior and senior high schools to enhance education related to food and nutrition. Funding is intended to provide food products to be used in classrooms as part of educational programs. The purpose of this program is to educate students about nutrition as well as the selection, storage, and preparation of lean beef. Eligible programs include junior and senior high school Family and Consumer Science and Catering/ProStart courses or other classes in which beef is cooked.

Beef Grant money is allocated based on the number of classes taught by age group/type of class:
- Catering/ProStart: $100 per class
- High School Class: $75 per class
- Middle School Class: $50 per class
