Grant Description

Grants to USA organizations to benefit Armenian youth in America. Eligible types of programming include camping, athletic, educational, and cultural activities. The purpose of funding is to promote connection and instill knowledge and appreciation of Armenian culture among Armenian-American youth.

Since 1973, the Armenian Youth Foundation has helped preserve Armenian heritage by proudly supporting a variety of youth programs. These cultural, educational, athletic, and camping programs cultivate an understanding of Armenian culture and bring together the future leaders of the Armenian-American community.

The Armenian Youth Foundation is available to support organizations that enhance the lives of Armenian youth.

Pre-Application Information

Proposals should be submitted to the Grants Committee prior to the July 31st annual application deadline.

Grant recipients will be announced during the calendar year’s fourth quarter.

Estimated Size of Grant

Historically, annual grants have been awarded for programs that have ranged from $350 to $25,000.

Term of Contract

The Board has awarded multi-year grants for projects of larger scope.
