Mignon Sherwood DeLano Foundation
Grants to Michigan nonprofit organizations to impact the local community in eligible locations. Funding is intended to further cultural, educational, environmental, and humanitarian enrichment. Past funding included support to local schools, facilities for the elderly, libraries, farms and food distribution programs, and legal assistance. Eligible organizations must serve the City of Allegan or Allegan County.
In furtherance of its mission, the Foundation will consider, among other things: contributions to medical and rehabilitative needs of financially disadvantaged persons who are ill or injured; public educational programs and the education of promising and financially disadvantaged individuals; advancement of the arts; and beautification and preservation of natural beauty, in situations where funds are not otherwise available from established institutions, businesses or governmental agencies.

All funds must be spent and final accounting must be received no later than the first Tuesday in September of that given year.
