Grant Description
Grants to Texas nonprofit organizations serving eligible counties for programs and projects that benefit local residents. Funding is intended for activities within the focus areas of education, arts and culture, medicine and science, literacy, and other charitable purposes. Eligible applicants serve counties in south and central Texas.

Eligible counties are Aransas, Atascosa, Bandera, Bee, Bexar, Blanco, Brooks, Caldwell, Calhoun, Cameron, Colorado, Comal, DeWitt, Dimmit, Duval, Fayette, Frio, Goliad, Gonzalez, Guadalupe, Harris, Hays, Hidalgo, Jackson, Jim, Hogg, Jim, Wells, Karnes, Kendall, Kenedy, Kleberg, LaSalle, Lavaca, Live, Oak, Matagorda, Maverick, McMullen, Medina, Nueces, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, Travis, Uvalde, Victoria, Webb, Wharton, Willacy, Wilson, Zapata, and Zavala.

Pre-Application Information
The 2023 grant cycle will be open from Wednesday, May 24, 2023 to Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at noon (12pm) CT.

Please note, if your organization submits your application within the last 48 hours of the submission deadline (August 23, 2023 at noon (12PM) CST), the Trustee may not be able to advise you of corrections needed with your organization’s application.

The Advisory Directors will make all final decisions by September 16, 2023. The grant checks awarded for the year will be mailed by September 26th.

If this is your first time applying for a grant you will need to register your organization using your Tax Identification Number (TIN) and contact information at the link, below.

Each TIN is limited to two (2) applications per year.
