The recipient will exemplify efforts to remain current in research and practice, innovative teaching practices, leadership, mentorship, and dissemination of practices and research.

Nominees must be Association members, affiliated with a college or university, and engaged in teacher preparation in reading at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
