Grant Description
Grants of up to $5,000 to South Dakota nonprofit organizations, government agencies, institutions of higher education, public schools, and tribal entities to provide public arts programming, events, and productions. Funding is intended for creative and innovative arts-based activities that will enhance the quality of life for local communities.

Project Grants assist South Dakota nonprofit organizations in presenting an activity in any arts discipline(s) that serves the general public and meets the specific needs of the applicant organization.

Panelists will award bonus points to applicants that demonstrate an effort to actively engage with underserved populations such as those whose opportunities to experience the arts are limited by geography, ethnicity, economics, or disability.
