Minnesota Library Association (MLA) and MLA Academic and Research Libraries Division (ARLD)
Award of $300 to a Minnesota individual academic librarian or academic project team to recognize outstanding contributions to academic libraries through an innovative program, service, or project. Nominations are accepted for individuals employed by or otherwise affiliated with research or academic libraries, or organizations that promote the mission of academic libraries.
Projects, programs, or services should demonstrate creativity, quality, and innovation within the context of an academic institution. Innovation is doing something in a new way. Innovation can be a brand new idea or refining something that’s always been done with great results. Innovation will be considered very broadly and is not limited to technology.
