Grants to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma nonprofits and schools for programs that support and encourage at-risk youth to participate in sports. Funds is intended for a wide variety of sports-related projects. Previously funded projects include sports camps, school and youth-group athletic programs, weight rooms, uniforms, program fees, and playing-field equipment.

Items generally considered by the Foundation, in evaluating requests:
- Free and reduced lunch percentage
- Number of youth impacted
- Dollars per youth impacted
- Sustainability (multi-year/used by more than one student)
- History with the Foundation, i.e. past grants
- Other sources of funding, including MAPS, alumni groups, district funds, other grants from organizations and/or foundations
- Community Service involvement.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grantee must be an educational institution or an organization that is tax exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the tax code.

Applicants must be located within the Oklahoma City limits or within the geographic area of the Oklahoma City Public School District and must serve High School age youth and/or younger.

Items generally not funded:
- Fees
- Appliances
- Camp Registration Costs
- Items that will only be used one year/season
- Playground equipment
- Meals
- Lockers

Pre-Application Information:

Grants are accepted twice yearly. If you submit a grant application after one cycle has closed, your application will be considered and reviewed during the next cycle. All grants must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by the deadline dates listed below:
- Spring Cycle Grant Application Deadline - February 15
- Fall Cycle Grant Application Deadline - September 15

Organizations are limited to one grant application per calendar year.
